Thinking about my younger sister’s attempt to kill herself last week and in memory of my daughter Angela who succeeded 19 years ago . . .
And to any and all who have lost loved ones to suicide, you are on my mind this week.

You're on my mind, too, Kate.
Speaking of which, do you want a book? I have a fabulous feminist book called The Panhandling Papers that really ought to be read more than it is on my shelf, but I hate to just ditch it on the used book market where someone might not appreciate it. I think you would like it.
That is very sweet of you. Since I am giving up as much as I can, I should say no. But, there is nothing that would stop me from passing on a good book. Right?
I will tell you outright that your regular comments, visits to make-a-(green)plan mean more to me than any thing you might ever send. That isn't hyperbole. More and more I am feeling the reality of that sentiment.
If you want it, email me your address to marshtrillium at yahoo
It's called Panhandling Papers, by Kady, and it has drawings by a woman named Paula Gottleib. It was published in 1989 and it has a mix of the big sans-serif font used in computer-publishing then, with the hand-drawn/cut & paste stuff common in self-published books back then. It's articles from magazines like Common Lives/Lesbian Lives, Sinister Wisdom, and Big Mama Rag, covering the 1980 women's pentagon action, Greenham Common, Wimmin's Peace Camp at Seneca, and quite a bit of "why do it if you can't win"
I love reading your stuff & discussing with you - I'm at the edge (as usual) of so many online communities, and each one is at the same time valuable and infuriating, but you seem to synthesize them the same way I would.

Rosa, I just sent you an email. You are very generous.
Lost my dad in April to suicide - I think it's just starting to hit me, to be honest. Thank you for the video. Much love.
My sympathies to you. (((Rebecca)))
